Eligibility Criteria for M.Ed (Shiksha Acharya)
1. Applicant should have done their 10+2+3 in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent CGPA.
2. Acharya / M.A. or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks, and Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed.(with Sanskrit as a subject of teaching) with a minimum of 55 percent marks (50% for ST/SC / Differently Abled candidates) from any recognized University.
3. There is an age limit prescribed by a few institutes that provide part-time degrees.
4. According to some institutes, a candidate’s age should not be less than 27 years and not more than 50 years.
5. Candidates should have aggregate marks of 40% to 60% in the undergraduate degree.
Admission Process
1. Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the slate Government/U.T. Administration and the University.
2. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
3. Finally, based on the overall performance in entrance exams and personal interviews, colleges offer admission to the selected candidates.
